EDCS Direct Professional Credential

Note: Express EDCS is changing its name, for clarity's sake, to: EDCS Direct. This program remains the same, for established licensed professionals already holding an accepted eating disorders credential from a recognized organization who are seeking to refresh knowledge, strengthen your practice, and increase recognition for your expertise: Earn your EDCS (Express Eating Disorders Credentialed Specialist) Direct with 11 self-paced courses. No practicum is included. You must be a licensed clinical mental health, dietetics, or other health care provider with a minimum *graduate-level degree or equivalent, 1000 direct clinical hours (can include pre-licensure hours), which must be completed prior to taking the Express EDCS final assessment, and 500 indirect hours or per your licensure requirement. In addition to the Express EDCS designation, which is valid for 3 years, you will receive a virtual Express EDCS credential badge, a downloadable, printable Express EDCS credential document, proof of CEUs, and lifelong access to course content.

*Registered dietititans are exempt from the graduate degree requirement if they received an undergraduate degree prior to January, 2024.
