EDCS-C Direct Consultant Credential

The Express EDCS-C is changing its name for clarity's sake, to: EDCS-C Direct. The program remains the same, for established licensed professionals already holding an accepted eating disorders credential from a recognized organization who are seeking to facilitate individual or group practicum sessions: Earn your EDCS-C Direct (Eating Disorders Credentialed Specialist - Consultant) credential with 12 self-paced courses, including a required course focused on contemporary practicum facilitation. You must be a licensed clinical mental health, dietetics, or other health care provider with a *minimum graduate-level degree or equivalent, 2000 direct clinical hours, which must be completed prior to taking the Express EDCS-C final assessment (can include pre-licensure hours), 500 indirect hours or per your licensure requirement, and a minimum of 18 eating disorder-specific CEUs (or CME equivalent) within 24 months prior to enrollment. In addition to the Express EDCS-C designation, which is valid for 3 years, you will receive a virtual Express EDCS-C credential badge, a downloadable, printable EDCS-C credential document, proof of CEUs, and lifelong access to course content. 

*Registered dietitians are exempt from the graduate degree requirement if they received an undergraduate degree prior to January, 2024.
